Hand-Me-Downs Aren't So Bad!

I hear being the third child has its drawbacks. Not that I would know. I am an unabashed firstborn. Type A personality and all.

My daughter, however, doesn't seem to mind being "third" too much.

Being third means she gets private tutoring from her older sister.

I just know she'll be reading "War and Peace" by age 5. And I won't have to teach her a thing.

It also means she has to wear hand-me-downs.

Hand-me-downs might not thrill her when she's older.

For now though, it doesn't matter how ratty and used her "bunny shoes" are. She's already made it clear she'll be wearing them every second of the day, until at least next February.
