I spent the morning watching my kids playing outside...laughing and running.

I had a rare moment of realization that I was observing something wonderful and totally unique.

It takes my breath away when I stop to dwell on my kids...three souls...three humans...being shaped before my eyes.

What a wonder. Thoughts, feelings, ideas, swirling in those little heads...

I suppose this has been happening a lot at our house lately.
A few days ago, I walked into the kitchen, and to my surprise, found this on the kitchen table:

I know, I know, it's just a box of crayons.
Did you notice, though, that they are organized by shade?

"Mommy, look, I'm organizing my crayons by warm and cool."
I was a bit shocked. My little girl is growing up, thinking, understanding, processing....
It's quite amazing.
"Great are the works of the LORD, studied by all who delight in them." Psalm 111:2
Love this Natalie! I'm constantly in wonder by my children.
